Another sign of how desperate companies are to get a piece of China. I really like the NFL but this seems really ridiculous and kind of pitiful. Despite the supposedly large number of people in China who watched the Superbowl, I don’t think football will really grow beyond being just a fascinating spectacle. There’s just no connection with Chinese culture or norms.

A bit surprising that the article doesn’t say how basketball and real football (soccer) are very popular, maybe more so than badminton.
